We are pleased to feature Bram Stoker Award winning and International Latino Book Award winning author and poet Cynthia Pelayo, who is part of our cross-genre anthology, Of Shadows, Stars, and Sabers! Cynthia has also confirmed she will participate in the magic-themed anthology, Of Enchantment, Enigma, and the Infinite, the Oz story anthology, Omniboz: Tales from the Land of Oz, and an additional, unannounced anthology!

Cynthia is a versatile author, poet, and editor, exploring many themes and genres. Her latest novel, Vanishing Daughters, is available now via Thomas & Mercer. Other recent works by Ms. Pelayo include Forgotten Sisters, Loteria, the Chicago Saga books, and Into the Forest and All the Way Through, among several other current and upcoming works.

We adore Cynthia’s Wonderland-themed short story in Of Shadows, Stars, and Sabers, titled “Long Last Alice.”

Read more about Cynthia Pelayo on her website, and follow her on social media via Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, Substack, TikTok, and Ko-fi.

Our second anthology, Of Enchantment, Enigma, and the Infinite, features fabulous authors from around the world, writing magical tales that charm, intrigue, or occasionally unsettle! Help support this anthology, which pays our authors and funds book production and shipping, by backing the Indiegogo campaign.
