Today we are chuffed to feature Nebula and Locus finalist author Greg van Eekhout, who is one of our contributors to our cross-genre anthology, Of Shadows, Stars, and Sabers!

Greg van Eekhout is the author of four fantasy novels for adults and eight fantasy and science fiction novels for middle-grade readers, as well as officially licensed Star Wars fiction and dozens of short stories. His novel, Weird Kid, won the California Independent Booksellers Alliance’s Golden Poppy Award for best middle-grade novel. Greg’s book The Ghost Job was also an Andre Norton Nebula Award finalist! Other works of his have been finalists for the Nebula Award, Andre Norton Award, and Locus Award, and were listed by the New York Public Library among the best 100 books for children. Greg lives in San Diego.

The short story Greg provided us, “Existence: A Thought Experiment,” is decidedly adult, and most unsettling…just right for the shadowy portion of our anthology!

Our anthology features tremendous authors across the spectrum of speculative fiction. Help us with our crowdfunding efforts to launch Of Shadows, Stars, and Sabers via Ko-fi (ongoing). We appreciate your support.
