We are pleased to feature our anthology contributor Renan Bernardo, author of science fiction and fantasy. Renan sent us a wondrous short story called “Wish You Were Here,” which we showcase in our cross-genre anthology, Of Shadows, Stars, and Sabers. Renan is also part of upcoming anthologies Of Enchantment, Enigma, and the Infinite (magic-themed) and Of Dread, Decay, and Doom (horror themed)!

Renan is a 2023 Nebula Finalist, an Ignyte Finalist, a 2022 Utopian Award nominee, and a Locus-recommended author. He’s also a SFWA member. His work has been published in English, Portuguese, German, Japanese, and Italian. 

Renan’s collection of Solarpunk/Climate Fiction stories, Different Kinds of Defiance, was published in 2024 by Android Press.
